Khoa Ngoại ngữ, ĐHDL Phương Đông được thành lập năm 1994 đồng thời với việc thành lập trường Đại học Dân lập Phương Đông. Trong 31 năm qua (1994 - 2025), đặc biệt trong 5 năm trở lại đây, khoa Ngoại ngữ đã có bước tiến vượt bậc:
Ngày 09/01/2026 vừa qua, Trường Đại học Phương Đông đã tổ chức thành công Chương trình tập huấn và diễn tập phương án phòng cháy, chữa cháy (PCCC), cứu nạn cứu hộ tại Cơ sở Minh Khai.
