The Korean Language Faculty equips students with Korean language proficiency alongside an in-depth understanding of Korean culture, people, and their working environments. Beyond language acquisition, students are encouraged to develop practical competencies applicable to business, media, and international integration, enabling them to seize opportunities arising from the global expansion of Korean enterprises and the continuing influence of the Korean Wave (Hallyu).
Students are expected to attain proficient Korean language skills across listening, speaking, reading, and writing, with the ability to perform translation and interpretation in both academic and professional contexts. In addition, they develop a solid understanding of Korean culture, society, and business environments, enabling them to apply their knowledge flexibly in fields such as commerce, media, and international relations.
Students are equipped with practical knowledge and skills in business administration, including business start-up planning and the management of small and medium-sized enterprises. The program also fosters essential soft skills such as time management, conflict resolution, and personal branding. In addition, students develop capabilities in business analysis and statistics, the use of management software systems such as ERP, CRM, and HRM, as well as acquire skills to perform tasks related to professional assessment, evaluation, and report writing.
